Acta Non Verba – Actions Not Words Zimbabwe

Recently, one of my dear friends in Texas asked me to build a site for a charity she is on the board for, Acta Non Verba – Actions Not Words Zimbabwe.
The couple who founded the charity, Kathy and Mark Paukune, had been so moved by the people and the conditions in Zimbabwe after a brief visit in 2009 that upon their return home they began ANVZ with the purpose of providing physical, financial and spiritual support to the Zimbabwean people.
I was lucky, the couple had decided upon a color scheme based on the symbolic colors of Zimbabwe. We decided that the Four Square theme by Expand2Web was perfect for this project as it divides the homepage into four main feature boxes: a place for a video, most recent blog posts, the Mission and a location map.
In order to spread the good word of this organization and educate friends and family about Zimbabwe and the needs of the people, a social media strategy was also implemented into the site.
I know I always say this, but I loved working on this project. The clients were awesome and the cause is wonderful, I love my job!

Wow – fantastic job Eileen! The site looks very nice.
I’ll bet it feels great to work on such an important project that helps others.
