How to Have A Static Piece Of Content As An Introduction To Your WordPress Blog
I have been working on a site (that has yet to be launched) and the client wanted to have a blurb about the blog that remained constant. As you know, each time you create a new blog post, that one becomes the first one that a reader sees, while older posts move further down the page. The static piece of content stays put, informing readers of your message (and allows you a line or two of text to maximize your keywords).
I will share my new site soon, but I recently did this same thing for Gilda Joyce using the Small Business Theme by Expand2Web.

How to How to Have A Static Piece Of Content As An Introduction To Your WordPress Blog:
- Log into your site
- Dashboard _> Appearance _> Editor
- Along the right hand side look for List Posts Page Template (posts.php)
Insert your text in the red box- If you want a headline use this code<h2> TITLE </h2>
All set! If you have any questions please leave a comment and I will be happy to answer.
