Lizatom Short Code Plugin

Written by: Eileen Lonergan

Lizatom | WordPress ThemesI recently purchased a special through Mighty Deals which was a package of short codes created by Lizatom. I am really not a huge fan of plugins, but the added functionality of these Apps for WordPress websites are alluring. Lizatom offers premium plugins, which makes me feel safer about adding them to my site. Lizatom also offers Premium WordPress Themes, a Developers Package is only $59 for a year and personal use is only $19, so the point of entry is quite affordable.

What I really wanted to share with you though is there fantastic customer service. Once I bought the Plugin I couldn’t figure out how to get it uploaded. I sent off a support ticket and sort of expected to just figure that the $20 I had spent with Mighty Deals was a simple loss. I heard back quite quickly from Tom in support who was super nice and helpful. I still couldn’t figure out my problem, and he went as far as to install it himself into my site! Amazing I would say! I have a learning curve for the shortcodes, but I am giving it a try and will share new look soon.

Personally I have a very disappointin experience with their support. The plugin disrupted the layout of my home page completely. When I still had no response after 2 days and wrote to them again their response was that they forgot to assign the request and that I should not complain if it took 2 days.
Also there is hardly any documentation with the plugin. Normally this documentation would be provided and tell you how to upload the plugin.
The plugin also has some very unfriendely shortcodes. If you want to use the frames with shadows you need to alter the code that WordPress normally uses to insert an image.

Theo, clearly we had different Customer Service experiences, which is a bummer because I found them to be so helpful. BUT to your point 100%, better documentation would have taken this issue of the table and saved us both a lot of confusion. Thanks for posting.
