What is SEO?

• Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the ranking of a website within the search engines via a natural (unpaid) process.
  • It is attractive for websites to have a higher organic (unpaid) ranking with a search engine (ie Google, Yahoo! and Bing), as the higher your website appears in the search results, the more visitors your site is likely to receive.

My suggestion is that you make SEO a priority before you build a web site, there are many important elements that happen in the coding and writing of a site that ensure you will have success in climbing the ranks of organic listings.
